Design Studio Guide

Learn how to use our powerful customization tool to create stunning designs for your products.

Quick Start

  1. 1Navigate to any customizable product and click Customize
  2. 2Use the toolbar on the left to add text or upload images
  3. 3Customize your design using the editing tools
  4. 4Save your design and add to cart when ready

Adding & Editing Text

Adding Text

  1. Click the Text tool in the left sidebar
  2. Type your text in the text input field
  3. Click Add Text or press Enter to add it to the canvas
  4. Click anywhere on the canvas to place your text

Text Formatting Options

Font Family

Choose from hundreds of Google Fonts or system fonts

Font Size

Adjust using the slider or input field (16-200px)

Bold

Make text bold for emphasis

Italic

Italicize text for style

Underline

Add underline to text

Alignment

Align left, center, or right

Text Color

Choose any color using the color picker

Tip: Double-click any text on the canvas to edit it directly. You can drag, resize, and rotate text objects just like images.

Adding & Editing Images

Uploading Images

  1. Click the Image tool in the left sidebar
  2. Click Upload Image or drag and drop files onto the canvas
  3. Select one or multiple image files from your device
  4. Images will appear on the canvas and can be moved/resized

Image Editing Tools

Opacity

Control transparency (0-100%)

Brightness

Adjust image brightness

Contrast

Adjust image contrast

Saturation

Control color intensity

Blur

Add blur effect to images

Tip: Click on any image to select it, then use the handles to resize, drag to reposition, or use rotation handles to rotate. Right-click for additional options.

Panning

  • Hold Space and drag to pan around the canvas
  • On mobile, use touch gestures to pan
  • Pinch to zoom on mobile devices

Layers Management

Manage multiple elements on your canvas with the Layers panel:

  • Show/Hide: Click the eye icon to toggle visibility
  • Reorder: Use arrow buttons to move layers up or down
  • Select: Click on a layer name to select it on the canvas
  • Delete: Select a layer and click the trash icon

Note: Layers at the top appear in front. Use the order controls to change which elements are visible.

Multiple Product Sides

Many products have multiple sides you can customize:

  1. Click on the side selector (usually at the top or bottom)
  2. Select the side you want to customize (e.g., Front, Back, Left, Right)
  3. Each side is saved separately
  4. Make sure to customize all sides before adding to cart

Safe & Bleed Areas

Safe Area (Green)

Keep all important text and images within the green safe area. Content outside this area may be cut off during printing.

Bleed Area (Red)

The red bleed area shows the maximum printable area. Backgrounds and decorative elements can extend here.

Important: Text and important graphics should always stay within the safe area to ensure they print correctly.
